The website brings all parties together to collaborate on a promising future for the South Sukhumvit area.

Overview

Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC) and the Urban Design and Development Center (UDDC) joined forces to transform Bangkok’s neighborhoods into livable and work-friendly spaces for everyone. As South Sukhumvit was chosen as a pilot area, southsukhumvit.com aimed to summarize the project’s goals, opportunities, and plans to develop the area for all sectors: public, private, and government. The website also invited visitors to become partners in shaping the future of South Sukhumvit.

South Sukhumvit

Design & Branding

This project combined different design styles from various contributors across multiple phases. Boonmee Lab created the color scheme and illustrations to represent four core principles of urban development: Inclusiveness, Resilience, Innovation, and Livability.

We designed branding materials including logos, animations, and mood boards. To complement these, we researched the development of South Sukhumvit and transformed findings into clear, engaging content that highlighted why South Sukhumvit was selected, as well as its strengths, opportunities, and challenges.

Future Development

Later phases of the website included the Why South Sukhumvit? and Future Plans sections. Why South Sukhumvit? presented research on the area, while Future Plans showcased activities and initiatives MQDC launched to evolve the neighborhood into a more livable and innovative district.
